Twine Games

Book Review - a project I made in 9th grade English class, focusing on the themes in Rae Carson's The Girl of Fire and Thorns

Undertale-style Battle System (unfinished) — a little demonstration of my Twine-based Undertale battle system. It's not completely finished in that the pacifist and no mercy routes are not completed, but you CAN play through two different complete battles.

Timshel — another school project, this time from AP Lit in 10th grade. This one is based on John Steinbeck's East of Eden, exploring its theme of choice through a game that lets you make significant changes to the outcome of the story. Contains multiple endings and a special note if you get them all.

Biology Quiz — a review game I made for my 10th grade biology class. It focuses on the scientific method, types of microscopes, and I believe worms and arthropods?

A Potions Class Game — a game in which you make potions in Professor Snape's class. There are multiple ways to fail, and they're all kind of fun. You get to interact with different ingredients and its up to you to follow the recipe... or not.

This page links to some of the Twine games I made that I am the most proud of. (These are hosted on Neocities, as it is one of the only free website builders that allows me to upload my own html files instead of using a website builder, which is necessary for hosting Twine games, so don't be surprised when the URL changes.)

Twine is a tool for creating interactive fiction games that are navigated by clicking links. It's a very simple mechanic and a very easy-to-use tool, but it can be used to create a lot of really cool things!
